Had a couple of windows that needed to be repaired. I had great service by Jon, he was very friendly and respectful. Very happy with his work. He arrived on time and called me when he was on the way to my house. My parts arrived earlier then expected. Everyone I talked to was friendly. Had no issues. Thanks for the great service.
A glass panel on our front door shattered. Someone from Blaine Window & Door came to our home and took measurements of the glass panel and emailed an estimate with an attached contract. My husband signed the contract and paid a $235 deposit. We called this establishment at least 6 times over the course of 2 months to follow up on when to expect someone to come to our home to replace the glass panel. Each time, we were told that the materials were delayed but in transit. After 2 months of waiting, we were finally informed that "someone dropped the ball" and the replacement panel was never actually ordered. There was no accountability just "sorry for the inconvenience". I had to call to request a refund for the deposit. For some asinine reason, they thought we were still willing to contract with them. I wish my husband read these reviews before considering doing business with this shoddy company. I do not recommend this business. Please read the reviews and take what is said to heart- your time, energy, and money will be wasted.
I’ve used Blaine in the past without issue but recent experience has been a nightmare. I was forgotten multiple times and then they installed window cranks that were the wrong size and worked worse than the ones I was trying to replace. Someone came out and acknowledged same and said the correct ones would be installed. Again, nothing happened. I haven’t been able to open 2 of my 4 windows for months. They finally got back to me and said my options are to get $46 credit for wrong cranks or pay another $300+ for the correct cranks.
This company is impossible to reach for starters. My elderly mother just used them to replace two very small windows that had old leaded glass that was cracked. They did not replace the windows, but removed old glass, damaging window frames in the process and then put in new glass which they left unglazed, covered in adhesive, frames scratched and split and in need of repair and painting. The charge for this horrible unprofessional service was $1,035.62. I have been trying to reach these people to come glaze the windows at the very least and they are impossible to reach. Do not use this company!
Zero stars for Blaine Window and Door. Awful experience from start to finish. We called to get an estimate to replace 2 exterior doors and repair 2 sliding doors. We scheduled an estimate appointment for their first available date which was 3 weeks after calling. After meeting with the with the estimator, he promised to email us an estimate within the week. After 3 weeks we hadn't gotten anything or heard from the company, I had to call twice to get the estimate emailed to me. When the $18,000 estimate was finally sent, it only represented some of the work we asked for and was so vague, it was clear zero effort was put into preparing it. For $18,000, you'd expect more than 'hardware, entry door lock' as the only description of the hardware they are expecting you to pay for. So, I called and left a message for someone to call me back. No response. 3 days later, I called and left a message for the owner to call me back. No response. I emailed the owner. No response. It is amazing that this place is able to stay in business when they failed at every level of a relatively simple project. I can certainly tell they aren't a thriving business. So, we are 6 weeks from the start of this process and zero progress has been made, just lots of valuable time and energy wasted. I suggest you go elsewhere!!
