My wife and I went here for dinner tonight. If you're thinking about eating here just step inside and sniff. You'll be immediately greeted with the smell of steak, shrimp, and lime..... it's divine. My only complaint is that or steak and ground beef entries were slightly overcooked, but the flavors were amazing. The sides were fresh, and the chips and house made salsa were tasty. The staff, though busy, were friendly and helpful. The drinks were well made and my double came with the extra shot on the side (a nice touch). If you're in Frederick and craving Mexican or Spanish food give thus place a shot!

Specializing in Mexican and Spanish cuisine, with a "dated" white tablecloth atmosphere. The service is friendly, the food came quickly, and it was hot a fresh. We got the steak and chicken fajitas for two ($45) and the queso dip. The chicken was cooked to perfection, but the steak was overcooked and chewy. The queso dip tasted like it was from a can or jar. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was great either. Our server was great, but a dirty table sat un-bussed for our entire visit. They weren't very busy, so this was distracting to me. It's a bit pricey for the quality of food in my opinion. Still, I'd eat there again, maybe try something from the Spanish portion of the menu.

Always great food quality and smiling faces - one of my favorites is cacique salad with fajita steak on top. Tons of tomato, cucumber, and avocado and the protein portion is always generous.

Entered it with an open mind. It was darker than expected inside but I suppose it was trying to go for a romantic atmosphere. It threw me off at how pushy the staff was to get our order in. My niece and I went to go use the little girls room and was disturbed by the filth. You can tell the difference between that day mess and mess that has been there. Blood on the stall walls with dried dark streaks, dark spots on the floor, and just ew. On our way back, noticed that the chips and salsa are just stored on a shelf that has no temperature regulation above a bus tub for dirty dishes. When our food came out, we were let down. The portion did not match the price. We did not expect baked beans from a can as our refried beans. These beans had pork chunks that we were not expecting and turned our stomachs as we do not eat pork. The tortillas with the fajita were cold. My niece couldn't eat most of her chicken tenders because they were so rubbery. We were not that impressed and have blacklisted this restaurant from places we will go back to. It was dirty and overpriced.

There are a lot of Mexican places in Frederick, and, over the years, this has been the one that I go to when I want to feel a little more like Mexican fine dining. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and the location is perfect. We've had everything - queso, fajitas. chile relleno, roasted chicken, Paella Velanciana, margaritas, Sangria, fried ice cream, chocolate mousse, and the churro bowl, just to name a few things of the top of my head, and they've all been delicious.
