One of my least favorite Cavas around. The toppings a lot of the times dried up and never look very fresh. They are very skimpy to the point where it’s funny. It doesn’t matter how many toppings I add to make my plate fuller, it’s never more than half full. I don’t really have an issue with that if that was the same at every Cava, but I’ve been eating this for years and have been to plenty of them to know that this is the case with this particular restaurant. The staff isn’t the nicest either. What prompted me to write this is mostly the result of my visit today where the young girl was just throwing the food into my bowl. I have been tolerating it for a while because I work around here and it’s closest to me, but the employee throwing my food into a bowl the way she did on top of the skimpy servings just did it for me today.

The portions are so skimpy I almost walked off and left it on the counter. When I asked about the portion they didn’t even answer me, they were just speaking to each other in Spanish appearing to be amused at my disappointment. Giggling.
NEVER AGAIN!
I should have taken the hint. It was 12pm and empty

I got the Harissa Avocado bowl with spicy lamb meatballs, and it was delicious and very filling. The customization options are incredible, and the food was ready in no time. The food also tasted incredibly fresh, so I would highly recommend this location.

This location is not as good as the Tenley Town or Silver Spring location. They often have food mistakes. For example, their lentils were crunchy last time I went, and their cucumber-tomato salad was not up to par. The falafel was over-fried to the point of being very crunchy (not normal for Cava).
They stopped offering pita. You must now ask for it. The servers don't know if particular items have dairy, which I find odd. There should be signs for them to see major allergens.
That said, the food at Cava is always nice, with their dips and sauces saving the day.

This is always my go to Mediterranean quick bowl meal option. Love the variety of ingredients that you can put in from cabbage and pickled onions to the delicious selections of hummus and dips. The amount of colors that pop out and taste makes you come back for more! The fact that every visit there are endless possibilities for my bowl and the quality is very good too. I recommend the lentils, very tasty!
