We ordered 4 dishes and 2 of them were duds and 2 were above average. The 2 duds: the seafood stew was a tomato based and nothing special. The squid were a little chewy indicative of being over cooked. The mussels were disgusting, having a strong pungent flavor, suggesting these mussels were already dead. The meat was also torn. I tasted 2 and spit it out, not wanting to get sick. The salmon was cooked right and tender, clams were clams. I had in mind that what I was getting was a Ligurian bouillabaisse like when I was in Italy, but this WS nothing of the sort. My son had a seafood linguini and the only difference I can taste was one was a soup and the other other a sauce.
The veal ravioli bolognaise was delicious. The sauce was very meaty and the filling had hints of coriander and something else. I wasn’t thrilled about the pasta as I felt it was too thick and doughy. Thin would have been my preference.
The special of the day was lobster linguini and it was a tomato basil sauce. It was decent with a decent amount of lobster chunks.
Overall, it was 50/50 and I probably won’t be returning.

We had our wedding at Cesco in June 2021 and could not have been happier. It exceeded all expectations. Elaine was a joy to work with and anticipated all our needs. She worked seamlessly with our florist. Food and service was fabulous!! It was a perfect day!!

Great atmosphere and service. Old style Italian. Tasty. Quality. Pippin' hot, but salty and sauces are heavy. Nice wine list

I ordered the lamb with veggies and lentils. The meat was perfectly cooked and the food came out in a timely fashion. I also ordered two drinks. The first was the cescopolitan which was a bit of a heavy pour and tasted more of vodka than I would have liked. Then the second drink I ordered was a margarita which was much better! It might depend on the bartender or just the drink, but the food was great!

Great Florence Italian food, unfortunately closed at the end of Feb. 2022 because of the chef's retirement.
