I got three quotes for mitigating a wall with mold in my basement. One company wanted essentially to rebuild my basement. A second company was proposing a minimal mitigation with no air quality test after the work. Maryland Waterproofing & Foundation Repair gave me the most professional and understandable quote. They thoroughly explained the work they were proposing to do and why. What really sold me on them was the air quality test that was included in their quote and that was to be performed by a third party. If you believe so much in your work that you propose others test it, you probably are doing a good job. It was been a few months since their work, and the mold issue seems resolved. They are probably not the cheapest option how there, but they may be the best value.
Steve is very transparent and thoroughly explained each step to encapsulating the crawl space. The cost for quality work is unmatched. The entire team managed my paperwork and schedule with the best service. As well, the workers were neat and finished the job earlier than planned. Simply excellent!
Steve was a pleasure to work with throughout our entire ordeal and issues we had with our foundation. From our first meeting with him when he came to inspect it he was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced in repairing foundations and waterproofing crawl spaces. We had several unexpected issues and cost changes that he was very upfront about, taking the time to explain the reasonings and price changes. They showed us the work they did step by step. Then when they realized they didn’t have to do as much work as they thought they came right to talk to me and showed me that the job would actually be costing me less. Honesty!!!!
