I ordered the guacamole greens bowl. This was an excellent choice. It was absolutely delicious. What I like even more about Sweetgreen is their consciousness level of the environment. You can't go wrong ordering from this establishment.
I've had salads at this location multiple times over the years I've lived in the area and it's generally been good, the food is always good whether take out or delivery. Recently, however, the delivery has been terrible. I tried to order lunch delivery today and received a notification that my order had been delivered. I went and checked the lobby in my apartment and nothing had been delivered, waited ten minutes and checked again, still nothing. I called but there's no way to actually speak to anyone, so I used their text assistance thing. Evidently the only option is for them to refund and me to order again. So I accepted the refund and ordered again. Within a half hour, the same exact situation unfolded again with the order saying it was delivered but no food being delivered to my apartment. This time I am just taking the refund and doing something else for lunch. I've also had orders delivered to the wrong apartment (sometimes they drop it off at the building across the street) in the past as well. With all of these issues surrounding delivery, not sure I'll be ordering from sweetgreen in the future, which is a bummer because I really like the food. Pretty ridiculous to lose two orders back to back on the same day. Might be time to look for a new delivery partner.
Good, healthy food, and great staff! But very strange policy where they refuse to provide cups for tap water, instead asking you to purchase water in bottles shipped from hundreds if not thousands of miles away, all while pretending to be environmentally friendly. I don't think any other restaurant chains (or restaurants in the area) do this.
I honestly love sweet greens but I hate this location because of the customer service. I have been going here for years with my daddy and it has declined terribly. I’m huge on customer service and I’m one to compliment if great service but sadly I never have good service here ever anymore. And they half way fill your bowl so it’s not even worth 13 or so dollars you pay for the salad. I really hate this location!!!
One day I came into the Silver Spring location in a rush because I was picking up lunch for my entire work team, 9 people total. Yesica and Rebeca were absolutely amazing!!!! They understood my urgency and assisted me with great customer service. As I read off 9 orders, they created the team's salads with perfection, even with all of our modifications. Thank you Yesica and Rebeca!
