I’ve used Frederick Window World several times. Once for a whole house window replacement, and three more times for smaller one window replacements and a repair.
Always thorough and quality of service just what I would hope for. I really appreciate having contractors that I can count on and Ryan and his team are my “go to” for anything window related.

To start, windows installed were incredibly too small for the openings. There were large gaps around the windows that they put flashing around to cover up. So each window has two window sills. Caulk washed down the exterior of my house because they installed right before it rained. So I have stained siding, cellar doors and concrete pavers. Oh— and three leaking windows. I also have two broken windows that were installed. Stickers were left on the exterior of the windows and are visible from the outside of the house. They broke one of my window sills outside and proceeded to use caulk to “glue” it back, and then propped it up with a stick. I paid hundreds of dollars for lead paint removal and there were no precautions taken. All the lead paint was left in the grass and mulch outside, along with scraps of metal from the flashing. No tarps had been put down. The installers broke things inside my house out of negligence and threw away window parts to my new portable window air conditioner that rendered it useless during the hot summer months. They also ruined the wood moulding around my windows on the inside of my house. They stuck a flat head screwdriver into the wood trim, to try to remove the previous windows. (My house is 100 years old.)
Windows were installed July 8th and over three months later, NOTHING has been remedied. I have called, texted and emailed. Save your time and your thousands of dollars. Use ANYONE but Window World.

Contractor ordered windows from Window World. One window had a small crack in the corner which went undetected and grew overtime. When we noticed the crack and called Window World about it, they refused to cover it. The other two windows have have moisture build up and mold spores which have formed. I called about the warranty on the window and they told me since the contractor installed I'd have to go through him, nothing they could do about it. So basically they sold me damaged windows and refused to cover it, and the other two were junk which after 3 years are filled with condensation and mold spores. Avoid this company like the mold in their windows.

Please do yourself a favor and don't use this company. We've been dealing with them since September, a 1 day job ended up taking 2 months, 5 complete no show, no call days, 2 late days with no call and 1 half a day that was scheduled for a whole day. 4 windows were the wrong size, but they had already ripped all of our windows out, so they had to put the smaller windows in for 2 months until the correct ones were ready. They also didn't caulk or cap the windows for 2 months, leaving our house freezing cold. We used double the oil heat, our electric bill has been double the monthly cost, not to mention the 5 no shows. They offered us a $100 inconvenience fee. The manager, Eric, is the absolute worst, he called yelling at us and said was going to lien our house. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and anywhere else I can warn consumers about this so called company. We plan to contact an attorney as well. BEWARE and consider yourself warned.
